I just discovered today Ad.IQ. This London based company makes more interactive mass media ads like posters' or TV's or radio's. Whenever you want to know more
about an ad you see or hear, you just text a code with your mobile
phone.
This is the very vision we had when Georges and I founded WATISIT at
the end of 2001. Taking into account the huge volatility of mass media
ads (so many people touched, and so often, for such a poor
transformation rate!), we created a technology that would handle with
SMS sent by people wishing further information on an ad. This technical
platform would then identify these prospects and send them customized
information to push them buy the product.
That way, off line ads would become interactive, advertisers could
identify people really interested by their offer and start a one to one
relationship.
Look at this comic that was our first sales brochure.
Nice isn't it? ;-)
I wish Ad.IQ all the best. Maybe now the time has come for such a vision to become successful.
