I recently bought a MacBook in the States. A QWERTY keypad of course.
Back to France, I thought I could get to used to it. It is not so difficult to make an "é" with 3 fingers...
But I was struggling to much and I went crazy. My work was slowing down.
So I considered having my keyboard changed to an AZERTY one.
The Apple center I went to answered me this would cost more than 300 € (!!!). "The thing is, the guy said, it is not really difficult to do (I believe it is really easy to do); but doing so, Apple prevents huge imports of computers from the Dollar zone to the Euro zone".
I eventually find an alternative solution with It Europe : buy little sticks for keyboards.
It works very well! It is not really beautiful but efficient. And it costs only 5 €.
